Burning candles make it very cosy in your home, but it can also be dangerous. Below you will find some burning instructions. Follow these to enjoy your candle safely.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always place a candle in a candlestick or on a plate when burning the candle.
Cut the wick if it is longer than 1 cm.
Be careful with highly flammable objects such as curtains and hair.
Be careful with children and pets.
Extinguish a candle with a candlesnuffer instead of blowing it out or extinguishing it with your hand or with water.
Never burn a candle completely, but leave about 1 cm.
Do not let a candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
If you burn several candles at the same time, place them sufficiently apart. For small candles 5 cm and for large candles 10 cm.
Remove any stickers from the candle before burning.
